Be a Guest Chef at Magpie

Think you have what it takes to handle the heat? Or maybe you want learn some new kitchen skills alongside the pros? 

Magpie is back with their volunteer program, which is open to all. Weekend shifts will be available, and if you come in for a full shift, you and your friends can enjoy a meal at Magpie up to RMB500. Pretty sweet. 

Take a look at the shifts below, pick a time that’s good for your schedule, and get cookin’ with the team:

Friday: 5pm-late
Saturday: 11am-3pm; 5pm-9pm
Sunday: 11am-3pm

That’s not all! Participants will then be entered in a lucky draw and the winner can take home a limited-edition customized Magpie knife. 

A few things to remember before you join Magpie’s volunteer program:

1. Wear pants, shoes, and comfortable clothing

2. Come expecting to work, you will be treated as a team member
   

3. Respect the working environment, the kitchen is the office (Ask before you take photos or videos)
   

4. Listen to the crew
